Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins, an American-Mexican sportscaster. She is currently employed by ESPN as a reporter for SportsCenter and sometimes hosts SportsNation. Her first assignment with ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of Maria Antonieta Collins, a TV reporter. Antonietta was bilingual since the time she turned nine. The ability that helped her get her first job as an Univision production assistant in Miami. There, she collaborated with producers for television shows that were national, like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. When she was in St. Petersburg, she was employed by the CBS station to work as a sports journalist. Her move from St. Petersburg to Rio Grande Valley in 2009 to work as a reporter on KNVO TV 48 Univision. Spanish channels KNVO TV 48 Univision, as well as Fox2 News. In 2009 she made the move into Rio Grande Valley, Texas in which she was a reporter for KNVO 48 Univision as well as Fox2 News. They eventually moved towards Mexico City, where Antonietta Collins was born in November 1985. She is older than her sister. The family moved in 1992 to Mexico for the US and settled in Miami. Her parents divorced soon after and, in 1995, she was married an naval designer by the name of Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away in 2006 from kidney cancer. In the summer in 2006 she spent an entire week with her sister in Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl was working there. Antonietta was a senior in high school with an idea of what she thought her future would look like, traveled to Mount Union University to determine what she could get out of the college. The campus was a dream for her. They also offered her the program she was interested in. After completing her high school education, she attended the University to pursue media studies. Mark Bergmann, her professor who was also the manager of WRMU's 91.1FM station for which she worked for a number of years, was a friend. He inspired her to have confidence and also his love for journalism deeply influenced her, and she in turn, strived to fulfill the expectations of him and not fail him.
